The canopy fabric is Indian cotton, embroidered in the Lucknowi chikan style. Note: these are sun umbrellas (not rainproof). They’re intended for occasional use. Use them for special occasions such as garden parties, weddings, family celebrations, etc.

Boho Parasols / Indian Garden Umbrellas Authentic and Exclusive!

You’ll notice they have ten panels, not the usual eight. This makes for a slightly rounder shape. And with 10 ribs, this makes them that bit stronger in the wind. What’s more, you can adjust the height of these Indian garden parasols. The diameter is approximately 180 cm (6 feet) and the length of the pole is about the same.

A choice of eight beautiful multicoloured sun umbrellas. Each is individually designed. These are not like the cheaper, mass-produced so-called Boho Parasols or Indian Garden Umbrellas on the market. Each of our parasols is exclusive. What’s more, each has an inner cotton lining on the underside. This makes for a better quality parasol and improves UV protection.

Specification and Dimensions of the Indian Garden Parasol / Boho Parasol

• Arc Diameter: approx. 200- 210 cm (82″) – span diameter approx. 180 – 188 cm (6ft 2″).
• 4mm steel ribs – rib length approx. 100 – 105 cm (41″)
• 2-section height adjustable pole – lever clamp action
• Bottom pole diameter 32mm / upper pole approx. 28mm
• White, powder-coated steel frame
• Double-lined canopy for additional UV protection

The pole is in two sections, each approx. 110 cm (43″) long. The upper pole attached to the parasol has a diameter of approx. 28 mm. The separate lower pole has a diameter of approx. 32 mm. The height can be adjusted with the lever clamp attached to the lower pole. The end of the lower pole has a pointed tip which can be inserted into soft ground or into a ground anchor or base (not supplied). If you require a parasol base or holder, we supply them here.

The ribs are approx 105 cm (41″) long. The diameter is therefore 210 cm (82″). The span of the umbrella measured horizontally across the underside edge of the canopy is approximately 188 cm (6ft 2″).

The canopies of these exclusive Boho Parasols are woven and embroidered. Frames used are sometimes upcycled and reclaimed, though checked as in good working order before they leave the workshop.
