This is a really superb quality garden or beach parasol. One of our most popular, in fact. It sports a handy, well-engineered crank handle operated winding mechanism to open or close the spacious canopy. It also has a tilting mechanism so that you can adjust the angle of shade. Great for both domestic and commercial use.

The polyester canopy is removable so that you can take it off and wash it if you wish. Just unscrew the decorative finial at the top of the parasol. The fabric is rot-resistant, stain resistant, fade-resistant, and machine washable at 40 degrees Celsius. Available in a choice of 8 different colours: black, green, natural, navy, lime, grey, plum, or taupe. Just select from the drop-down options menu above.
Note: though shown in some of our images, a base is not included. Our recommendation for a base is as follows. If you intend to install through a hole in the centre of a table, then you need a base of at least 20 kg. If freestanding, then we suggest at least 25 kg. The heavier the base the better really. You’d be surprised at just how much energy there is in a gust of wind blowing against a 3m diameter canopy. A 50 kg base would certainly not be out of place.

For the money it seems a very well engineered and solid parasol. Easy to put up (and down) using the crank handle and the tilt facility is particularly useful with a satisfying positive feel to the mechanism. The fabric covering has a reassuringly thick ‘quality’ feel to it compared to some and should last a long time. Delivery, although not free, was very fast and it was delivered the next day. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend Umbrella Heaven to anyone.
