The summer holidays are here but unfortunately, in typical British fashion, the good weather is not. The last couple of days have admittedly been rather pleasant, however I’m sure you will all feel similarly that this may not last and the rain will soon be back!
Finding things to do in the summer holidays can be difficult when refraining from taking a vacation in order to budget. Something I would highly recommend is taking a visit to the London theatres. Wicked is back again this year, and extremely popular as always. With glowing reviews and a fantastic reputation, it’s not one to miss!
Wicked is the recreation of the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire, which revisited the stories and characters in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ but with an unusual twist. It tells the untold story of an unlikely yet enlightening friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students, and illustrates the events subsequent to becoming the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch of the North. It is the side to the story of Oz that we weren’t told about!
